Framed marble fragment from the Parthenon from the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. Item is placed in an ornate gold-leaf frame with soft green velvet backing and a piece of glass enclosing the object in the frame. A custom wooden frame was build around the item for better protection during a previous exhibition

Piece of marble was acquired in 1953.
