Square, pocket, handkerchief holder. It is light blue in color with an embroidered edging, which is in the same light blue color. in the top left corner and the bottom right corner there is a small bow, which is in a cream color. In the center of the holder, set diagonaly, there is an embroidered rectangle, edged in the same material as the edge of the case. In the center of the rectangle are the worder "Valentine Greetings" which is done in light pink thread. Starting in the bottom right of the rectangle is a small boque of flowers with a yellow bow at its base: there are three green stems, the side two twist around so thet semi surround the wording, while the middle stem twists up into the wording and is set behind it. On the stem are small yellow flower pods and red hearts. Right next to the "G' in greetings is a small red heart with a yellow arrow going through it.

The back portion of the case has no design. In the center of the pocket, on the right side opening, there are two white strands of a silky material that would be tied together to hold the pocket close; currently there is a safty pin holding it close. Inside of the pocket is also plain, but is done in a more cotton material then the outside satin.
