Object Description
Square pillowcase. In the center of the case there is a stitching of the Greek flag on a flag poll. It is positioned on the left side of the case, sitting at a slight angle. The pole itself is a copper color and the top portion is yellow. The flag itself is attached to the pole where a blue rope appears to be coming from and twisting around the pole. Coming out from behind the flag and taking up the top right corner are two roses: one is done with a maroon color base, light pink for the edges of the petals and red for shadowing. It has a green stem and leaves; the stem has thorns and the tips of the leaves are a lighter yellowing tone. The other rose is much smaller and curves downward, slightly away from the other. It is just a small one inch rounded pod with five pointed leaves coming off of it. In the very bottom right corner are the words "GREECE" It is done in black writing and sits next to the flag. Sewn in about two inches from the edge of the case is a pleated, light blue (or used to be light blue, very faded in color), trim that goes about an inch or so higher than the case.
