Object Description
Square pillowcase. In the center there is an embroiderment of three roses: two next to each other, stems crossing over the other and the third curving down into the lower right corner. All of the roses have brown stems with thorns as well as leaves that are three different shades of green (olive, light, and almost a yellow green). The petals are also done in different shades of pink (dark maroon like color, rosey pink, peach, red, and light pink). Each use the colors differently.

The rose in the top lrft corner has the light pink siting on the ends of the petals to help define them and the darker maroon like pink is used to add shadow.

On the rose in the top right corner some of the petals have the light pink for edging, but mainly the peach color. The maroon is used more are the base color and the rosey pink used more for shadow.

The rose in the bottom right uses the maroon as the base and has the red to add shadow as well as define the petals. The peach and light pink so define a few petals also.

In between all of the roses is a banner that reads "Chicago" The words are done in all caps and are black in color, minus half of the "G" and "O" which are maroon. In the middle of both "C"s, the "G" and "O" are small yellow dots. The banner itself is light blue on the front portion and white on the back.

Swen onto the pillow, about an inch and a half from the edge of the actuall pillowcase, is a olive green trim made of a silky cotton material. It is only swen into place so is able to flop around a bit and comes two and a half inches higher then the actuall case portion of the pillowcase. It has rounded corners and where it is attached, folds upwards. There are quite a few holes in this part of the pillow case: good amount of the bottom half and one on the right top side.

The back side of the pillow is plain and has an opening at the bottom of the pillow in order for the pillow to slide into.
