Object Description
Female doll with light brown/reddish hair, twisted up into two buns and wearing a red fez with yellow tassel. She has brown earrings and necklace, although is a small red bead on each of the earrings. She has on a red jacket with yellow embroiderment. Right below the elbow the red stops and a light blue sleeve begins, this part is hald open revealing a lace bit. She has on a white top under the jacket with a lace ruffle. The skirt is light blue with two gold strips at the hem and an inch above. Her arms are made of plastic up until the elbow to where it changes to wire. The legs, body and head are made of a hollow plaster like material. He face is painted with blue eyes with very long and thin eye lashes, curved brow, and red lips.
Origin
Handmade in Greece, in the traditional regional dress. In the "Amalia costume."
