Object Description
A painted icon of Jesus of Nazareth. The painting is done in very dark colors with Jesus facing out. He is wearing a crown of thorns on his head, white torn robes and ropes. He is bleeding and looks sad. Behind him, in the upper left corner, is a paper that reads "Jesus Nazarenus, Rex Judaeorum" and in the upper right corner it is signed, W. Geraeots, 1909. The painting is framed in carved wooden frame.
