Object Description
A large terracotta colored serving plate with gold and black decorations on it. These handpainted decorations include a Greek-key border around the inner rim and a depiction of three people; possibly Greek Gods, in the center. The person on the left is a man dressed in a long robe, barefoot and holding a staff and a bowl with two handles. The person in the center is female, with more coloration than the other two. She has a helmet on and is holding a spear. The person on the far right is also dressed in a long robe holding a lyre with a small deer-like animal at his feet. There is a wire hanger on the back as well as a note that says it was hand-painted in Greece
