Object Description
A white U.S. Navy officers cap with black visor and gold embellishments.

The crown of the cap is white, with a black hat band and visor.  Where the visor meets the hat band, a gold cord runs across its top.  Centered above the visor, there is a black, oval insignia attached to the hat band which depicts an embroidered golden eagle with outspread wings.  The eagle is standing on top of a silver shield and flanked by two golden anchors.

The visor is black and has golden oak leaf embellishments, or "scrambled eggs" artfully and symmetrically arranged across its top.
