Object Description
This is a worn and tattered baseball. The leather is dirty and damaged. The thread stitching is red and green. There is writing on the side of the ball in black sharpie. "To Mary and Pal John. Home Run 2nd Game 3rd Inning. Score 15-5 16-6."
Origin
The ball comes with a sheet of small paper that says
"Baseball-
Sons of Pericles, Lord Byron Chapter
Game-winning ball of AHEPA baseball tournament
Presented to Mary (Raptis) Kanellos and her
brother, Johnny Raptis. Circa 50's"
