Biography

Shelley Berkley was born to second-generation Greek parents on the Lower East Side of New York. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where she graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in political science and later earned a law degree. She served in the Nevada State Assembly and worked her way up to a Congressional seat.
