This is a brass pepper or coffee mill with a handle that screws on the top. The shaft is long, smooth and cylindrical.  Ornate bands of carved wheat with carved rope borders decorate smooth surface of the mill.

This pepper mill belonged to the mother of Anna Morfettas, who is the daughter of Katherine Morfettas. The objects were brought from Greece to the United States.
